Youth Slam Standings for the 2016/2017 Season final standings

Here are the latest and updated youth slam standings for the 2016/2017 season. Things to remember to be eligible for the 2017 youth slam team. You have to slam/compete AT LEAST TWICE during the year. You CANNOT be turning 21 BEFORE September 1st, 2017. Also some of you compete for the all ages slam as well and are gaining points there so another thing to keep in mind is that you CANNOT go out for both teams. It’s either the youth team or the all ages team not both. Also the team will be traveling to Toronto at the end of August for Voices of Today, the new national youth poetry slam championships. You will need to be available for team rehearsals, fundraising as well as being able to go to the festival.

There is ONE MORE YOUTH SLAM to go in the current regular season. If you have competed only once so far during the season and you want to try out for the team YOU NEED TO COMPETE IN FEBRUARY to get your second slam in.

Hopefully I have everyone’s names correct…it’s hard to read everyone’s writing. If there are corrections needed please get in touch with me, RC, at rcarcee2@gmail.com
